Gulper catfish filtration

What would be minimum filtration for a gulper catfish? I just got one and it has a big sponge and an aquaclear 30 hob.

That may be fine but you're going have to maintain the sponge and 30 hob filter. Also testing water parameters and proper water changes. All will be crucial as the Gulper catfish grows.
