Gulper catfish Fly River Turtle Cohab

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
no and no.
FRT do not go with anything for long I'm sure most will agree. and the both are HUGE waste producers.
also gulpers require about a 55 gallon and FRT need huge tanks.

Dont do it.
The turtle will either attack the gulper, or the gulper will attack the turtle.
Keep gulper cats with gulper cats of the same size.

Has anyone had any kind of luck with any sort of a cohab with gulpers. So far i have a pleco with my 8 with no problems.

no to turtles.
you dont want an expensive fish like that becoming turtle show would ya...
as for other fish, more gulpers and fish that are high bodied and should be much bigger than the gulper.
NO AGGRESSIVE FISH.
i kept my old one with a perruno cat, megalodoras irwini, silver arowana, bichirs and a couple of other fish.
it ate a delhezi,a SB senegal and a nandus nandus.
all were smaller than the gulper.

pleco should be fine, although some suck on gulpers.

How about jaguar catfish i love the way they look and does anyone know where i can get one. Thanks

i would think the gulper would try to eat the frt, but my frt lives with catfish, and all types of bottom dwellers he could easily eat and he dosnt. try it and see how it goes. worse comes to worse just move the turtle or fish
