Anybody have any experience with large Gulper Cats? I want to add 2 in with my 16 inch BGK. Not sure if the Gulpers will try and swallow the BGK tail? Gulpers are pricey but very cool fish. Its a 150 gallon tank btw.

Never trust a Gulper Cat! BGKs are thin fish, so even a Gulper half it's size will fold it down it's gut.

I wouldn't try it. No matter the length difference, like Benz wrote, knives are long and thin and can be folded to fit into the mouth.
I really want a 4 inch Gulper cat! Nice 150 gallon tank. Will the gulper cats try and swallow A 15.5 Inch Black Ghost Knife. Female so shes thick. When i picked her up she held her own in a giant tank with big dats and bass.
gulpers will eat anything they dont care its halarious but sad my gulper just at a 11 in endli bichir
