Gulper catfish

Hi

I saw a few vids of gulper catfish, and was intrigued by their feeding. I'm thinking about getting some, but the 300-500$ price tag is a major investment that i'd rather not make
First off, do you know any places to get healthy cats for a lower price?
Secondly, could you keep one in a 20gal? i heard they don't need much room.

if you really love the fish i think its worth it to make that investment. 20 gallon its ok, just dont go any lower.

You can find them for $60 around here now a days. I had mine in a 20g Long tank. It did fine. Just used a powerhead to give it some current.

20g for life is a bit small, maybe 55g for life

Good luck on the find. I suggest it being the only thing you have in it's tank.It seems no fish that isn't almost three times the cats size is safe...................
