I've had my 3 since they were about 1.5" long. They are nearly 3.5" now. I've had them about 3 months now. Don't underestimate them ever for their ability to eat others tankmates. They don't seem to be able to inhale their prey, but instead they grab it the same way that a gar does. Mine really seem to like alot of current/water movement in the tank. I like them alot. Easy to keep fish.
