Gulper is pooping out white worms is that bad or good?

Is the gulper still eating? If so, the best way I have found to get fish to take metronidazole is to get it in the liquid form by Gel Tek. Its called Ultra Cure PX. I inject the food (I did this for my eel with night crawlers). Since they just suck the whole thing up, they have no idea they were taking medicine.
I would treat the entire tank. For my discus, I defrost blood worms, soak the worms in the medication, and refreeze them or feed after soaking for at least 10 minutes. They eat these pretty well.
I just emphasize to try to treat before everyone is really sick, since this medication needs to be fed to the fish and cannot be absorbed by freshwater fish.
