So recently, my Sheetfish (one of my prized oddballs) was attacked and never seemed to recover. I think it was my barracudas, but it could have also been the Lei Arowana. Anyway, the sheetfish wasn't looking good, and the only tank I had where he wasn't guaranteed to get murdered was my 240. The 240 holds my 2 Fl. gars, my Odoe pike, a fire eel, and my Gulper.
The fish was actually starting to recover (I think), though he was still swimming erratically from time to time and he hadn't eaten in a couple days. So I came home last night and was looking in the tank and the Sheetfish was nowhere to be found. The Gulper, on the other hand, was having trouble hiding in his usual spot because of his gigantic stomach
Now that Sheetfish was probably close to 10-11" long nose to tail. My Gulper is (a very fat) 7-8". Now I know I should be upset, but I'm honestly more amazed than anything else. I'm wondering if I should be worried about the 16" fire eel, or the 18" gars?
