Gulper SICK please help!!!!

Gulper Blew up like a baloon over night.

It is not bloat from eating too much.

Is this bacterial? will it pass, is there a treatment.

WHAT TO DO!!!!

probally bloat bump up temp add salt..... or he just ate ur other fish!!

He is the only fish in the tank.

There are 4 feeders in there and he ate 1. Last night.

He is ROUND like a puffer tripled in normal size, not a lumpy belly.

It's very serious. He looks like he's gonna explode. I feel terrible.

Bloat instantly went away with in an hour. The Size of this fish literally divided by 3 during that time period, he now seems to have like rip/stretch marks all over his bottom side looks like burns. and he's swimming upside down and floating up.

Ph is 8.0, so I downed it a bit, upped the temp to 85, salt, and meds.

He is not going to make it.

prior symptoms:

rapid massive bloat
rapid unbloating afterwards
vomiting
lesions under belly and on side by the tail
turning pink
loss of fins (ALL)
heavy breathing
floating to the top
then sinking

What ever this poor thing had, It kicked the $**t out of it in 12 hours.

its normal for gulpers to gulp water, make sure u have a lot of air bubbles they require a lot of oxygen, i have 2 air bubbles in mine and he gets better when it happened because my bubbler was broken last time, when i saw him he was all bloated, then u put a new one and hes better

how long have u had the gulper? i think wild caught ones need alot more oxygen, was he pooping worms?

I would say 3 months and was deteriorating ever since, I'm sure he was sick the whole time. But he ate every day.
