Gulper with Ich

Wild Gulpers have ich after I treated twice with prazipro last week.
Now I started treating with IchX every day with 30% water changes and I'm at day 3 and the water is at 78.
Any advice on anything else I can do, they have some gill curl starting and I haven't seen any improvements.

Believe prazipro won’t cover ich. Gotta use paragaurd. Sure it’s ich?

With ich i only rise the Temperature to 33 Degrees for one week.
I also switch my uvc lamp on, adding some salt and catappa leafs and after a week its gone.
You have to See if your fish can handle this Temperature.

I was thinking to keep using the IchX every day with the 33% water change for 5 days? I have had some luck in the past with it but not with Gulpers...

I used the prazipro for the first week since being wild caught fish I figured they had something. Maybe that triggered something.

May have. Can also slowly add in some tannins. Might help to fix some of the issues esp with hard fl water and these fish. It’ll help with the ich.

That's a pretty bad case by my thinking. IDK IchX, I usually used Rid-Ich by Kordon.

FWIW, IME gulpers are not anymore sensitive to meds and cures than an average fish. It's the wrong long term water parameters that usually do them in.

The gulper seems to be doing better after another massive water change and I added almond leaves to the sump.
