Are there any species that one gulper can be
kept it a 110 for life?

Only one species of Gulper.

They like to be kept in groups ( 3, 4 )

I see no problem with mentioned gallonage.

Gulpers are relatively small cats, you could do a group in a tank that size.

You could keep 3-4 of them in the 110. They only require about 30gals a piece depending on dimmensions

how do they usually do with more then one?
I guessing my best odds are to a group purchase all the same size
