In my sump I get a type of gunk that coats the glass. I normally take an Algae Scrub Brush and reach in their and break it all up.

However, I was thinking. Would this stuff be Edible to something? I was thinking of getting some Snails, or Chinese Algae Eaters, Maybe even a BN Pleco.

What do you guys think?

Mike

PS: Also, I meant to say My sump is a 38G tank that I also breed Convicts in. So whatever goes in their is going to have to tolerate them.

Perhaps a siamese algae eater, the other thing to keep in mind though is that convicts that are breeding might get territorial and not tolerate other small fish.

I'm keeping that in mind very much. Right now their are 3 Giant Danios down their that decided that a Waterslide down the Overflow would be a better fate then playing with my Oscars. So I know that Fish can out maneuver my Cons. But would a BN or Siamese be able to handle the constant onslaught of a Con?
