Gunk On Glass

Hey everyone quick question-
I have a little problem with gunk build up on the sides of my tank, it scrubs off but keeps coming back. The tank is not in direct sunlight so i don't think its anything to do with algea. Is this normal and how do i fix it?

Nope i've searched the forums with no luck...maybe calcium deposit... It just makes the inisde of the glass look murky if that helps... makes the water look foggy

Is it above the water line and a white coloration?

below the water line...dont think its calcium deposits... Maybe white i guess it not that thick.... it just makes the water look murky and cloudie

i get the same stuf. not sure what it is but i just use my mag float to scrub it off

It's biofilm and below is how you get rid off it.
