guppies will eat their fry while they are giving birth... if the fry have a place to hide (gravel, plants, ect) they will however the parents will pick them off if given the chance..
it takes about 4 weeks (give or take) from birth to birth depending on water conditions, stress and all the other normal stuff..
for the fry to grow and give birth it takes about 3-4 months depending on health and such... the males are ready to go usuially right around 3 months..
clean water right around 78-80 degrees.. good food (flakes are fine.. algae wafers, shrimp pellets, cucumber, food sticks.. prettymuch anything) is about all it takes..
They may or may not eat. As for my experience, i've once had a spawn in 1 5 liter bottle and all the fry were living with the female for one month!! I've noticed failed breedings only when the females are stressed.
Guppies will eat their fry. It seems that Mollies are the only ones that tend to leave their fry alone. When I had Guppies, it seemed like they gave birth every other month or so.
