So I keep a 36 gallon guppy tank for my girlfriend and the other day I came home to 6 new guppies. Now I warned her not to add too many at once but apparently she didn't listen. So I've been doing water changes every day to keep the ammonia down untill the bacteria can catch back up. However they keep dying off. Now there is no way my water qualities are off since I'm doing a water change each day with prime. However today I noticed a lone white round worm squirming in the water of the tank. Super small, could this be it? Could the new guppies have had a parasite from the petstore? Anyone ever had this problem? How did you treat?

So now there is 9 guppies and two pea puffers in a 36 gallon Bowfront with a Aqueon 30/45 and a sponge filter.

picture of worm? I down it is parasitic. We can see many non parasitic worms in the tank especially if there is lots of organics

I didn't get a picture however, I went to my LFS that's actually fairly educated and he gave me a bottle of this Apro anti-fluke life bearer medicine. Its says generally cures symptoms within 48 hours. And I must say already they are looking better swimming at all tank depths instead of just the top. I will update in a few days. I'm gonna do another water change tomorrow then monitor.
