does anyone have a suggestion of a fish that could live with guppies? but is big and active that does not eat them? no tetras,pacus,goldfish...something like a eel

I don't think fire eels usually eat live fish. Peacock eel would also fit the bill and they only reach a foot.

Also, Acanthicus adonis, other large herbivorous plecos would work fine in a large enough tank.

What's your tank size?

koi, pleco! eel will eat guppies while they resting at night!

guppies can go with alot of smiliar and smaller fish.
Gouramis, mollies, tetras, barbs, etc... community fish.
Welcome to M F K!

Goldfish are cold water fish. Do not mix them with tropical fish.
