Gupps

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
put one male and a couple of females in a tank, feed them for a couple weeks and they should give birth. you dont really have to do anything. when their about to give birth they get really fat and the spot under the anal fin gets really dark

hey i just found my old 10 gal and i was wodering if gupps are easy to breed? can somone leave me with advice or some tips?

just remember to use a breeder net or nusery tank when the big time comes, if you leave them in the main tank, you will need plenty of cover, or they become food.

put mama in the breeder net fast & take her out soon after the release..

I actually had one that would swim over the top edge of the breeder net to get in & then out again when she was done... it was the darndest thing...

I am currently out of the guppy thing now...

Not that hard to breed.

!0g is plenty big, refer to the thread named "guppy tank"

If given the chance, guppys would breed in a toilet bowl.

Spead out a ball of java moss on the bottom and float a bunch of hornwort, easy plants that grow fast theyll give the young plent of cover

they are usually pregnant once you buy them lols
and if its a 10gal with just the other gups you wont need a breeer ney plants and cover is all they need,
when i put mine in a breeder net about 2 thirds of them died:( but the 3 that survived after I took em out are still alive and I'm gonna take em to a show :Dyou dont breed them you mass produce them.. thats why I'm not getting another female
