Guppy breading question

I recently bred some guppies and have since separated them into a male tank and a femail tank. I acedently put a femail in with the males and want to get the little girl back with her mom. But heres my question; do the males just spread their sperm through the water? Because if they do how will i transfer her over without moving some male water over and not impregnate my guppies again.

first if you recently got the guppies they can hold many birthings off of one time. why not breed them? its likly shes prego already but no its not through the water like ur explaining

Livebearers breed the same way we do....that gonopodium the males have?.......watch closely next time a male gets close to a female.

They will breed from about 3 months old, and can store sperm for about 5 batches of young.
