so me and my friend have a few fish that we need to buy feederfish for so i thought why i dont i just breed guppies and make them the feeder fish but do guppies make ok feeder fish

yes,ive hear storys of wild guppy in a tank outside with no filteration with 200+ guppys all tank born not to mention only living off algea.they can live off nothing almost a breed like crazy but your would to find a a big tank 30+ gals to grow them in

Yeah, they make good feeder fish, unless the fish your are feeding are pretty big, then they aren't really even a snack. What fish are you feeding? Convicts are a great choice for feeders too, and they breed like crazy.

well right now ill prolly jus be feeding them to my friends ghost knife and shovelnose cat both juvies but im looking in to getting a GT

You could probably supplement defrosted frozen market shrimp, scallops and mussels as food instead of live feeder guppies...

Feeders are unnecessary for almost all fish. Stick with pellets, shrimp and fish fillets. It's better for them than feeders anyway.

Pellets own feeders. I like knowing the balance of diet my fish is getting instead of just throwing in a feeder.

I also recommend feeders. I'm fine with people who want to watch their predatory fish occasionally eat a live feeder (although I never feed my fish live fish) but I would only recommend them as an occasional "treat". Really, a pellet is going to be a much better source of nutrition.
