Throughout a year of selective breeding I finally got the guppy I was going for. This is a flame guppy/with yellow fantail/with electric blue/with a fantail pattern. It has genes from all the listed above. I'm calling it a leopard guppy for nowIMG_20140614_124413.jpg

Thats awesome, I have always wanted to start a breeding project with livebearers, how many generations do you think you went through?

Have you gotten them to breed true? That is the real test haha. I've always wanted to try something like this, but I always get side tracked with other projects.

I have found out the order of generations in order to get this trait. That's if all traits are the dominant trait but I believe electric blue is recessive so you get a mixed variety after breeding. Around 2 of the Guppy's in the batch look like this

Are you going to be selling offspring? I have a breeding setup myself with guppies and would love to add some others to my collection.

If you were in Ontario or the Toronto area you could have them all as I need to sell a few tanks
