I was wondering if anyone could tell me why I have 3 female guppies in this tank, with 2 males...and it appears they only like to harass the one female. All 3 females have had fry at this point since they have been in this tank, but im afraid the one guppy will eventually become overstressed because of this.

Its bad, both of them constantly picking at her...

Any ideas?

lol i thought it was the mod too when i first read the title

I woould take her out add 3 more females then put her back in in a week or so.I usually like 3-5 or more females per male if your going to keep them together. If you are mostly interested in breeding,Id keep the males and females separate, just put them together for mating.

I do like that 3-5 females per male ratio, hmmm.

That seems pretty normal, I doubt it will cause problems. I had a female gambusia in with some smallish male guppies that could never figure out why she would not breed, heheh.

I breed guppys and my advice is to seperate her and introduce like at least 3 more females or take out the 2 males and only put them in when you want to breed
remember when it comes to guppys always double or triple the ratio of females to males
