Gut loading feeders

I use feeders occasionally. I quarantine first of coarse but kinda curious about gut loading i feed different kinds of feeders on different tanks........ any help is appreciated

i gut load with high protein pellets to counter the fattiness of the feeders

ya i like the NLS cichlid pellet 1mm the feeders seem to like them and its not as expensive as say massivore or something like that

You should also consider your feeder type. Goldfish are high in thiamine, which does not make them a very good sole source of nutrition. They also posses a hard dorsal ray which can harm your fish. I am not saying you can not feed these guys but I would maybe also use some live bearing species as well as some inverts so long as your fish will eat them. What are you feeding?

Lima shovel nose flat head catfish bluegill and a rocket gar African leaf fish the gar and blue gill have been gettjng small rosies and white clouds till my guppie fry get bigger the cats get goldfish or shinners depends on what i can get and i also use ghost shimp i get from the swamp i duck hunt when i cab get down there the cats are both over a foot
