Gut-loading mealworms.

What foods are beneficial to feed mealworms so my oscar gets some extra nutrition? Im more interested in basic kitchen food kept in the house, what will they eat?

I brought a tub of mealworms this morning and threw in four garden peas. Three hours later and they have eaten them! I couldnt believe it. My oscar wont eat peas now so that's good news. What else? Bread? Meat (unprocessed)? Cereal? Chocolate? j/k

carrots, sweet potatoes, kale, and beets will all provide pigments for your oscar to work with and are nutrient dense.
wow, imagine a beet red oscar...
