guyana stingray?

i'm planning on purchasing a guyana stingray from my lfs, but when i tried to look up info online i could find nothing concerning this species. does anyone have any information? water temperature, what to feed, what their largest size will be, etc? any info is appreciated!

get it michelle:D , it's a guyana sp. also knowned as a huimerosa ray...

gets pretty big but it nice and pretty hardy ;)

also.. temp 80-86F. Food shrimp-blackworms-night crawlers-pellets.. and a few others.. good tank would be atleast a 6x2 to start.
 
I know this is an old thread, but I've recently found these for sale near me. What size do they max out at? Is there a profile for them posted in the sticky section?

No, I don't think anyone nearby has them currently in stock, but my guy at feeders said he can order one. I just didn't know what the heck kind of stingray it would be :)
 
Well, they listed both teacup and guyana stingray on the stocklist, so I figure they'd be two different species.
