Very much south..
I am falling for these guys, with their goofy eyes and their ability to negotaiate life in a tank full of bigger fish. My male boy does his dance among the Amphis, aros and clown knife with a superb panache....

He is around 10 to 11 inches.
I would love to see the big ones, the big bulls in here.

( no Florida Canals stuff, that i already know and love )

Those guys are bulkier than mine, but significantly less beautifull.

These guys were bulky. The colors varried depending on the color of the bottom. These didn't have that nice red I have seen in some of the tank raised. Do you have pics? I have been wanting a mayan myself, but I think they would be too aggressive for my stock.
 
I will take some pix of mine after Xmas.

Just hope for it to develop like those caught in Florida. Impressive beasts.
