Guys, Newbie me needs a little help here....

Hey, i had this newly bought silver aro just this past two weeks. Things are going well until I noticed this white thing i his eye. Its like a sticky white thing stick in his eye. I was thingking it affects his eating because he suddenly slow down eating guppies.He only try to eat guppies that bumps his mouth.What do you think should I do? My Aro is about 8inches.Living with a spotted gar in a 160 gal tank.I would really appreciate any help.thanks a lot guys!

check your water?increase the oxygen,switch on the light 24hrs,add a little aquarium salt?

Thanks dude! Another thing...Do you know the ratio number of a tablespoon of rocksalt against the number of water gallons?

Its special aquarium salt for medication, and it says in the bag the dosage, on mine 2 - 4 tablespoons for 10g check yours raise the temp of the water
