my FHs water kok has suddenly reduced size..will it cause any lasting damage to the fish??and how do i get it th kok back to its full normal size??pls help..thank you

it will not do damage to the fish.
it will come back with time, generally every water change a kok will decrease somewhat, but with proper water conditions, proper feeding, and a mirror(i do that to speed things up), it will be back in no time.
