Ok, everyone. From the day my new pair of silver arowanas arrived my home to today is 13 days. They do not eat, and still scared of me. Every time I present in front of tank, they go crazy, bump to tank, filters, decor.... I have post a thread when them refuse to eat for 1 week, a lot of kind people replied me, and told me to check water condition and left arowanas alone. Which I have done all of these, water are fine and they are alone now. but still nothing works. So, seeking for help again.

Fish: two 8 inch Silver aro
Tank: 75 gallon
Filter: CFS 700 and Sunsun 304b + prefilter 603. (1050 GPH in total )
Food I tried: Crickets, Dry krill, carnivores pellets
Steps I took to calm them down: keep the room dark and aquarium light off for 2 days, one 3rd day light up the room, and start to drop food into tank. 4th day turn on the aquarium light, and continue drop food into tank. at 1 week, did 15% water change.

Please, help me save my arowanas!! Thank you!!!

Your other thread you state they are in a 125g, now in a 75g? How long in the 75g, moving them only creates more trauma. Current tankmates?

Throw in some albino plecos. Lol jk, i got mine to eat pellets. I chopped up garlic and put them in a small container with some pellets and then fed the pellets to it. I dont know if its safe but my aro seems normal so I think its safe plus alot of people mention garlic.

Garlic helps with internal parasites as well as increasing appetite.....

Temp....that's right! OP, Higher temps also help increase appetite.

Just read your old thread. Seems like your 125 wasn't cycled. And now your saying they're in a 75. Stress from adding them to an un cycled 125, then moving them to this other 75 is just adding to the stress, question is, is this 75 fully cycled? If not, your adding even more stress.

Also read that your temp was at 77. That's pretty Damn low, I keep all my fish (aro and peacock bass) in 82-85°

Hate to sound like douche, but your doing everything all wrong.

Sorry. I am new to aros. But my 75 is old tank, now I move everything in 75 to 125. And let aros alone in 75. Do you suggest I heat up the water now?
