Gymno Help Requested

Hello~

I have a nice group of Gymnos from the Dude (Paso Pache) and I will also be grabbing a group of Gym.Sp "Valentine". My question in a 45 Breeder (75 footprint), or in a 55 gallon tank, can these 2 species of Gymno be mixed? There will not be any cross breeding as they are 2 very different species (looking at least).

Hi Nuthman... I replied to your other post and then saw this one.. I suggest you contact a new member here..EdBurress. he's very well informed on geos and gymnos and is a great resource.. I know there are others on this forum keeping geos but I don't know of any keeping the gymnos you listed.. Hopefully they will respond. You can also take a look at the cichlid room companion forum as well as the cichlid-forum and there is also an eartheaters forum.. Perhaps between all the experts you can get some answers.. Are the gymnos the rhabdotus-type or gymnogenys-type? I have both from Paso Pache that I collected in Uruguay on a trip with Felipe Cantera. Both are very nice species.
