I have 6 of them in a 10 gallon growout right now and most are just under and inch. i moved their tank a few days back and im not sure they have eaten since. they look a little thin. today i added a plant that covers the entire top (plastic) and am painting the back to make them more comfortable. they have been really skittish since i have got them. the tank parameters are all normal and the tank is unheated at 73 or so. any ideas. these are from ken (fish farm) if anyone else got them and has ideas on what to feed. i have tried fry food, small cichlid pellets and several flakes.

I have 8 of the F1's from Ken. Got them at about 0.6". About 3.5 weeks ago. They all eat flakes and are already 1". I haven't had any issues with mine. They all eat flakes good and are growing fast.

Mine are just in a barebottom 10g with a sponge filter and a few baby BN pleco's. I do 2 60% water changes per week and feed 2-3 times per day depending upon how much time I have.

Try some fresh garlic in the water. NLS has a formula with it in there already. I never had any luck with Balzani. I always noticed they get hith disease easily.

I have 5 from Ken. They are in a 26g tank with sponge filter. Heater at 78* to keep their metabolism up till they grow out. They are with 30 or so Australoheros Oblongum fry that are slightly smaller.

I feed them all about 4 times a day. They are getting fat so I will slow the feeding. I feed flake, crushed Hikari Cichlid gold, and 1mm pellets. They look healthy and are very active.

40% Water changes every third day.
