These were brought back from Uruguay by Ken in March. They are a little skittish so I had to shoot from a few feet away. It's a 90g tank on an Eheim 2026, an Eheim 2028, an AC110 and a Emperor 280. The dominant male is paired up with the big female and they push the others around. This is close to their natural breeding season last year so I hope to see some actions soon :)

I lost one sub-dominant male recently. A very handsome one. He was challenging the dominant male during that period and I found him dead one morning.. RIP

A couple of pics to remember him by:

Gorgeous tank, I love all the plants. What is the stock list?

Thanks :) It's a no-tech tank and I'm surprised the plants lived so long. Stock list is just 5 balzanii and some dithers (emperor tetras and roselines)

Do you have extra females?

Great looking Peat. I love Balzanii I always wanted to do a tank dedacated to them. You konow I'm a sucker for for the SA's too.

BTW the Orange Heads are doing great.

That male is amazing! And very very nice setup. I love the plants going up the driftwood...
