Need help trying to ID this Gymnogeophagus. I bought three from my LFS a while back as Blue Neon (Rhabdotus). Now that they're a little bigger, I'm pretty sure they're not Rhabdotus. They don't look at all like the other two Rhabdotus species I have. Looks like they're going to be beautiful, just would like to know what they are.

The supplier the LFS bought them from also had Rio Olimar, Norte (which I'm also pretty sure it's not), Rio Yi, Yerbolito and San Boria. Thinking it's maybe one of these.

They do look part of the gymnogenys or labiatus group to me.
And the females all look just about the same to me, as do immature individuals.
female Yerbalito

I've kept Yerbalito and Paso Pache long enough to know them well, but the others are all so similar my IDing would only be guess work.
You could contact Felipe Cantreras at
