Don't have experience with Gymnothorax Polyuranadon but have had species of Moray. The only concern I have if the Moray bit either the Fire Eel or Bichir. They have teeth that could do damage. Tbh never heard or read of this specie being aggressive.

It should. Mouth isn’t big enough to take down large fish.

I wont suggest it cause the way the eel grabs ist food, the eel will accidentally bite the poly when it comes to feeding time. The eel will bite and pull the food toward it and imagine when it accidentally grabs the bichers face/fin/tail. But they can be together just watch out during feeding cause the eel gets too aggressive.

Ill be tong feeding the eel separately, for that reason specifically.

You can try, its very peacefull to be with the polys just during feeding time. The only thing that worries me is when you do feed the eel in a tong the polys might get scared and they might not eat, but you can always try.

I appreciate the insight. They are pretty used to my hand, but Ive never used tongs, so we'll see. Though my ornate does love a good petting sometimes.
