Well my carpintis first spawn failed. The male did not do his duties, but alas not unexpected for his first time. However, 2 weeks later, they've tried again. And this time, I *think* they got it right.

Tiny little embryos starting to show up tonight:
Mama says "get lost!"
Note the teeth marks all over the wood near the spawn site. They've been chewing on it like crazy.
