H. Difformis (Water Wisteria) leaves curling - why?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Mine is doing the same thing...also the lower leaves are turning pale and falling off, while the fresh ones at the top are a very nice green color and looking great. I've read that its because the upper leaves are blocking light from getting to the lower leaves? is tthat true?

Dose it with Flourish, and some CO2. You should be good to go. These plants grow like crazy, and don't need much light either.

I have seachem flourish tabs in there, one at the base of my sword and one at the base of my wisteria...but i'll put some pics on this weekend

Mine grows fine, except it's funny how it totally changed from the plant that I bought it (short wide leaves) to the way it looks now - long narrow leaves.

I actually replanted it last weekend because it had reached the top of my 20L. I took it out with its now massive root system - I cut off the roots and replanted them, I cut out the middle portion and threw it out, and took the top 3-4 inches and stuck them back in the sand. I'm sure they will grow roots in no time. This is one of the two plants in my tank that is doing really well.
