Does anyone know if this stuff behaves the same as normal Bleach on fishtanks & stuff?

For those that may not know what 'he' is--- 'High Efficiency' is made for new washing machines. It suppose to act differently in the newer machines.

I used it when I had a HE washer and it is thicker, similar to runny jelly. It also has more ingredients in it than regular plain bleach and seems to foam a bit more. I would stick to regular plain bleach for the fish room, even the new concentrated Clorox bleach seems to be a bit foamy so I just buy cheap bleach for my fish room needs.

ugh, I wasn't seeing any plain. For some reason the market has changed around here. Walmart was more then happy to replace it with this stuff. Time to go to another store.

It is happening everywhere, I had to go to a couple different stores to find the 'old' stuff.

Not that I don't appreciate the correction in the title but I did it that way to match the way it is shown on the products

My washer and dryer are 15-20 years old.
I feel your pain.

Last time I bought regular bleach it was at the dollar store believe it or not.

:edit: late 80's- early 90's are more like 20-25 years ago. Oops

Agreed, surfactants can kill fish. Surfactant = soap.

I have used it with no problem. I wouldn't go out of my way to get it, but it's what the wife bought.
