H. Lacerdae max size?

I currently own a lower xingu lacerdae. I sometimes get the info about wolffish from Japan. As you might know xingu lac is not rare at all in Japan. My friend showed me a pics of breeding pair of lacs. if i remember correctly the size of breeding pair of lac was roughly little over 13" I am trying to get some more info about that. i can also post a pic of breeding pair that i got from my friend.
There are many different types of hoplias in japan but i personally do not trust japanese website. they still do not even know correct sciendtiic name.
i am just wondering what is max size of xingu lac in captivity? Does anyone can share experience?

Don't know what's the max size in captive, but a member here had a 17"+ Salvador H. Larcedae

I believe ashdavid has a xingu lac that is pushing 30". I would think the average size is much smaller. Hoplias seem to be affected by captive keeping and IMO I think 20" is probably near max for a lac. Lots of factors will affect this. Water volume and quality, diet both type and frequency and the genetics of the individual fish in question.
