The sun is setting behind my house so there is an apparent glare. But I wanted to catch a bit of the courtship between the H. Multispinosa. The nosy Rotkeil is interested in them too I guess.

greta fish well taken care.... good luck with them gruff
Thanks. They are very colorful and active fish. They're not aggressive at all, even while defending a breeding site. They give a little chase but that's it. I don't know why they chose such an open spot. There are plenty of more secluded places in the tank for them to breed.

Just curious, where'd you get them from?
I think you already guessed correctly, Ryan:). When I saw them I wondered if I knew the source. Before I go there again I'll just pm you first. It might save me some $ and gas.

You keep buying all my kids! lol. I knew I recognized them. They're great little fish.
Lol...You're a good dad, I guess! The next time I'm just going to come to your house, no more middle man prices. Yeah, I really like these two. They looked nice in the store but once I put them in the tank with the Rotkeil and Clown Loaches they lit up.

Nice! Good to see you got them from a good source. Good luck with the fry!

Thanks, Tom. Ryan has been unwittingly supplying me with fish for a few months now. Hopefully they'll remain just as civil once they have fry.

They look great! Is this pretty much the adult size?
Thank you! I'm a bit confused by the max size. I 've read many articles from just as many sites and some of the growth information is different. I've read that they max out at 3" and I've also read that they grow to 5"-6". The male is currently 3" and the female is about 2.5".
