H. psittacus (true parrot) GROWTH RATE

I have a group of 6 of these guys currently in my 90 gallon growout and was wondering what the growth rate on these fish were. They will be going into either my 180 gallon or 300 plus monster tank next year. They are right around an inch right now. Are they your standard .5 inch growth rate per month or are they a slower growing specie. I provide daily to bi daily water changes of 50 to 75 percent and do small feedings about 4 times a day.

My 2 were definitely not fast growers, .5” a month sounds about right.

so in comparison to vieja they wouldn't grow as fast as those? Would it be safe to say a viejas growth rate would be more close to an inch a month?

The synspilum that I used to have probably grew twice as fast, so 1" a month.

1 inch a month for the vieja? I'm mostly wondering when I should be prepared to setup my 330 gallon and thought 180 gallon haha. I think the vieja will last in the 90 for at least 6 months
