Habistat playing up

Im not sure if this is in the right area, but here goes.

I have habistat temperature controllers and ceramic lamp holders coming off them, untill now i was using 250 watt ceramic bulbs to heat my tortoises etc but recently the bulb blew, i have tried putting a few of the glass edison screw bulbs in the fitting such as 60/80 watt but the bulbs blow as soon as power goes to the bulb. i am presuming the reason why they blow is due to the bulbs not being man enough for the light fitting. can anyone help?

If need be i have at least 10 habistats so i can swap and sort etc.

Something its seriously bad with your equipment, Im thinking humity infiltracion. Replace it all, not worth the risk of something like a fire

Found it! the wires had molded together at the lamp fitting causing it to short. replaced and fixed
