so between volunteer work, prom, and more volunteer work i manged to find time to spend on fishes

i went fishing in my the flood channels around huntington beach and caught about 60 little sculpin, pacific staghorn sculpin to be exact, me and my buddy decided that scince they were already in brakish water we shud try to acclimate them down to full fresh, so we headed home with 6 of the little buggers and i set up a REAAAAAALLLLLLYYYYYY slow drip that took about 3 days. lost 3 of them when the temps dropped to below 50 degrees (the acclimation rig was outside, future attempts will be inside). but the other 3 survived. my buddy, who happens to be my nextdoor neighboor and a lurker on here (maxpower) is keeping 2 of them in a now temperature regulated holding tank outside. and one acctually ate this afternoon, so it looks like they may make it. i took the one that ate home and set him up a little 5 gallon tank to watch his progress, it would be totaly badass if they actually thrive, only time will tell

alos picked up a little redfin shiner that found its way into my local petco, got him for $0.01 :)

so heres pics of my 2 new ]v[onsters
