I lost a good one yesterday.....My favorite RTCxTSN. When I went downstairs to feed the fish I noticed he wasnt in his tank
He had somehow jumped out and found his way to the corner sump pump hole. I have no idea how long he was out of water but I put him back in the tank and he was still alive. Dont ask me how but he was. He was already pretty dried up, but I thought he might make it. This morning he was dead. The strange part is why and how he jumped ???? This tank was lid less for a few months but I just put a lid on it when the weather started getting colder to keep the heat in. He had only a 3" x 5" opening to get out
. He was just shy of 18".
I still have one RTCxTSN left but he has the personality of a stone, absolutely worthless, and I've been waiting to return him to the LFS before he gets too big. Its kinda odd having a vacant 150.
Thats two big fish lost to stupid circumstances in the last two months, at this rate I'll be keeping guppies soon.
ps..... This last pic of him was after I threw him in the tank all dried up, I really thought he would make it
