I over fed my 3 Peacocks by accident yesterday. Today one of the Mono's puked up a bunch of rosies:barf: and was sitting on the bottom... . Well it was a long day at work but after I got home everyone was back to normal couldn't even tell which fish was sick.

Thank GOD I over filter (2 110s on a 90 gallon) or this could have been a disaster

Lesson learned DO NOT over feed peacock bass:redface: :wall:

weird. My peacock bass just stops eating when he is full. I will put about 70feeders in there and he eats about 15 right away gets fat and saves the others for later and munches ont hem when he is hungry.

Mine used to do that too but they over did it yesterday. The Rosie's have been running small lately due to the summer season so I usually get 3 dollars worth. yesterday they where pretty big but I still got 3 dollars worth thinking it would be fine that was my mistake.

Thank you for your concern I hope my lesson may help others in the future

Yah its so nice. My pb is always the first to get the blood worms i put in. Him and my oscar. He gets the first one, I give it to my oscar my hand(not doing that anymore tho. I fed the oscar first and the pb took it from me and nipped me OUCH) then i give the bass another then metl 3 for the others(the bass and oscar still eat sum of those). when there is feeders tho he just chills and every1 else gets more :D

Lucky you didn't lose them.

At least you've learnt
