Old guy here. I had an extra 125 hanging around. Threw in a couple of large (potentially) fish in and now I am a MFK! I have an Electric Blue Jack Dempsey on order, should come in the mail tomorrow. Have a female Gold Jack Dempsey and a female Red Bay Snook in the tank. Tank has four large bio-wheel type filters on it. Hope it's enough. Been cycled for years. The tank was a baby angelfish grow-out tank in the past. Did a 100% water change before adding the new fish. The tank is outside (in the shade)
I live in Merritt Island, FL in between the Banana River Lagoon and the Indian River Lagoon. Both saltwater bodies. Live five minutes from the beach in Cocoa Beach but never find the energy to get out and get wet(except for water changes)
I have bred Angels and Discus and a dozen other freshwater types. Breeding Celestial Pearl Danios right now. Bred Pygmy Seahorses. Did a lot of coral propagation for a local pet store. This will by my first Monster Tank.
Anyway that's me.
