well i wrote about a week ago because i got two very small (under one inch) baby red devils that I put in my 90 with 2 mid size plecos. thought i at least had some time before they started going at it, considering the size of the tank and their size, but lo and behold the big one started going after the smaller one after only a couple of days, especially during feeding time, and as it only got worse i finally decided to give the small one away. just thought i'd give an update. i can only imagine the beast this little dude is gonna be if he's already this aggressive

Sorry to hear that. I kind of thought that was going to happen. Sounds like your going to end up with quite the monster!

Wow, that aggressive at only an inch. Looks like your going to have a real monster on your hands. I bet he'll be a real buster once he gets bigger.

well, it got bad enough and i know how i get, especially with red devils...i figured the longer i had the other one the harder it would be to give up. the aggression was mostly during feeding but i noticed it on and off the rest of the day too. just decided it was probably for the best. actually the one i kept is probably a little over an inch now, eating like an absolute pig.

My devils are fine right now, the larger is about 6" and the smaller is about 4.5" and they are in with my ca/sa tank. They have started to beat up on my Green Texas, but she can hold her own for now. She's about 8" and beautiful. I know I will have to separate them eventually when they reach sexual maturity, but that shouldn't be for a bit. The larger has started to bang the glass when anyone enters the room, I get the feeling he is going to be a real prick later on. :irked:
