I got bad hair algae...
should I get UV Sterilizer to remove...?
I already have Otto but it seems not working on hair algae...
what should I do...?
Thanx in advance...

How do you figure that's a lot of light when he never said what type or how much light he has?
Adding Nutrafin Plant Gro is going to do nothing for the plants. Especially adding it once a month. Get the flourish line or dry ferts. You should be adding nitrate and phosphate and probably iron at the least. You may need potassium and micro nutrients as well.

Light + phosphates = BBA. Potassium dosing with excel and co2 will help kill it back.

UV sterilizer will not help long hair algae.

Only if there is an abundance of phosphates with no plants keeping the nutrients in check.
For all we know he has a 1 watt LED 10' above the tank. That would hardly cause algae growth. Until the OP lets us know what his lighting is you can't actually recommend a definate solution to the problem.
