Which of these 2 fish are more aggressive towards tank mates? How big do these fish get? Which one is hardier to water changes etc? Any input is appreciated.

thx

Ok I probably want the jaguar then. Do they get along with tank mates? I heard they are similiar temperament to JDs, but not sure.

Some people have insane jaguars while others have very docile ones. But from what I've been lead to believe Haitiensis do not do well in community settings, so I would have to say you'd probably be better off trying a jaguar over a hait. They tend to be hardier too.

I was moving this guy back in with his lady friend the other day, he's @14 Total length, they will hunt down and destroy any other fish that enter the tank.

If you are looking for best chance of Community type set up I would go w/ a Jag. Jags also don't seem bothered by large scale water changes. I change 60%-70% once a week and they relish it. Haits I also hear need warmer water mid to upper 80s. Jags are happy in high 70s low 80s.
