Halloween

Hey guys, I thought it would be nice to discuss Halloween in 2020. What is up with Halloween around your neigborhood? Me, being 13, dressed up and trick or treated. It wasn't knock on the door, it was tables out side and please take one (a few buckets wich I took a lot of the candy from....). Something I noticed was that everyone was following guidlines (masks, etc.), and there were some pretty awesome ways of giving treats. Someone made a Rube Goldberg machine that worked like a coneyor belt. Some people put candy through pipes. One person wore gloves and threw the candy onto a mattress (freaking halarious). What was your experience with halloween?

On my street it was pretty normal. Just about every one here has little kids, so a lot of people were out. Most people still go into the nearby town every year though. Kids still came by houses, we would wear masks and hand out candy, if was very similar to the usual, just Covid.

Mhhm. I wore a mask under my plague doctor suit, and had gloves on. Did you hand out candy like u usually do besides the masks?

Halloween is not really a thing year, generally not safe to go out late anyway. I went hiking, saw a lady with skeleton face paint which was about it.

A lot of trick or treaters didn’t have masks, but my family and I had a mask on, so best we can do, I guess. I generally avoided people, others in my family did more handing candy out. At my house, we were germ-a-phobes before COVID, so we took all the precautions.

Pretty much BAU here. Actually, we had one set of trick or treaters, last 3-4 years we've had none.

There is a haunted trail put on by the Boy Scouts. They got an old hearse, and had a 20 foot monster ripping someone apart. Awesome. I didn’t expect them to have such complicated decorations.

Thanks,the anglerfish was a flea market find.I bought the Predator diorama from a shop some years ago,I used to have a display of certain figurines that I liked.I have most of them packed away now.
The tombstone,bony fish,gargoyle archway and skull are from my aquarium decorations bin.I have picked up quite a few aquarium ornaments over the years,a lot of which have never even been placed in my tanks.
