Hey, I got a 5-6" jag on saturday and now hes acting weird, hes in a 75g with a 3-4" jag, just now im watching the 5-6" one, hes cleared a small space of gravel in the middle of the tank and is shaking violently around it, the smaller jags colors have gone from really dark to real bright

Any ehlp appreciated!

I'd be surprised if there was lol
I'm pretty sure the bigger jag is male, but the younger one is still unknown and their 'fishy parts' are sticking out :S
Isnt 3-4" too small to breed. it also looks like hes trying to attack her
btw ive got a 5" oscar in there too and hes getting served by the bigger jag :S

definitely not too small to breed. if the bigger jag has cleared gravel and is shaking or 'displaying' to the smaller jag, then it really sounds to me like breeding behaviour. do a water change and see what happens. that usually incurs spawning

defintly about to spawn or at least trying to impress her put a flat rock in there or a pot of some sort, do a water change and bingo 2000 eggs

That oscar will be toast soon if you leave him in there with those two monsters
