Ok, so I walk into my living room this morning and check on my babies. Everyone was doing ok so I fed them a good portion of blackworms til their little butts were nice and plump. I leave the room for about an hour and return to find the water all cloudy!!!!!
AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
My litte females' tummy must not have agreed with the food so she spat it all back out. Of course my initial instinct was a water change.
I didn't do a massive one rather a few small consecutive ones to minimize stress to the rays. After about four 25% changes the water has cleared immensly. The temperature has stayed constant. The rays seem to be a little labored in their breathing but other than that they are moving about.
I don't have a test kit because I ran out and have to buy a new one later today. So I don't know the water params but yesterday everything was perfect.
Should I be really concerned about the labored breathing? I am going to keep an eye on them. I don't want to mess with the water too much but should I do another change later?
These litte guys are always keeping me on my toes. They are going to give me an anurism but I love them.
