I love how this little pair that's starting to develope is starting to shape out. Ham Hock is the little male and little brownie is girl thick and growing a nice little dome on top...just sharing..

Dempseys may not be for everyone but I've always loved them..What I'd like imput on is how many people have seen Dempseys with Nuchal humps? I've seen it on Rick coyes monster ebjd...But in general anyone got pictures of nice domes or Crowns on Jacks to share. Geno types, standard, wild caught ebjd or platinum or gold..I'm sharing of one that I Have on a blue geno type I have..And another of a friends ebjd...
Nice dempseys as usual! I haven't owned a dempsey with any kind of nuchal hump before but I've seen a few on here with them.
Im not a huge Dempsey fan, not that I dislike them they just arnt my thing. They look like they are getting some nice iridescence to them.
They will always be my favorite fish...I know they're not for everyone but I think thats whats great about the hobby is our own nitch..Mines is the dempseys for sure

Yup, every one has different tastes. Thats one reason why I get annoyed when I see people on here "O thats ugly" and so on. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Its what you like that matters.
So true. Man first dempsey I saw with a nuchal hump was the Male in New york city that was mean! WE simply called him the "Male" Then I saw one that Umbeeking brought back from Belize in the 90's we called him the Red Wine jack...Red and long trailors with a nuchal hump..nicest specimen I've ever seen..
